How to Capture Event Match Quality Score in Facebook Before Going Live with Elevar

Capturing Data Prior to Going Live with Elevar:

In order to obtain the necessary data for comparing Event Match Quality Score in Facebook before and after going live with Elevar, it is important to capture a screenshot of the data prior to going live with Elevar because the Event Match Quality Score will not highlight the original data needed for analysis.

You will need to let at least 48 hours pass after integration with Elevar in order for Facebook to update the scores.

Access Facebook Event Manager:

  • Begin on the Facebook Business Manager homepage and use the left-hand navigation menu to click on the "Data Sources" tab. An additional drop-down menu will appear, locate and click on the "Datasets" tab.
  • Once in the Datasets settings, locate the list of dataset and click on the one with matching pixel ID that you have used to implement Elevar.
  • Navigate to the upper right-hand corner of the page and click on the "Open Events Manager" button.

  • Once you have selected the dataset with the matching pixel ID that you used to implement Elevar, you will be brought to an overview page.
  • Capture a screenshot of the table on this page and be sure to include the specific Events and Event Match Quality Score that will be used for analysis.
