Overview

In order to setup Google Tag Manager tags for Outbrain, you will need to have be able to locate your Outbrain Pixel ID

How to Locate Pixel ID in Outbrain

Access Conversions:

• Sign into your Outbrain Account.
• Begin on your Outbrain homepage and use the left-hand menu to click on the "Conversions" tab.

Connect Another Data Source:

• Once in the Conversions settings, navigate to the upper right-hand corner of the page and click on the three dots.
• An additional menu will appear, click on the "Connect Another Data Source" button.

Enable Conversion Tracking Settings:

• After clicking on the "Connect Another Data Source" button, you will be brought to an new page titled "Enable Conversion Tracking".
  • Navigate to the section of the page titled "Select Your Data Source" and click on the "Outbrain Pixel" button.
  • Navigate to the section of the page titled "How will you install the pixel?" and click on the "Install pixel manually" button.

Locate Outbrain Pixel ID:

• After selecting the required details for enabling conversion tracking, navigate to the section of the page titled "Install the pixel".
• With this code you will find your Pixel ID located next to the "OB_ADV_ID" line.
  • You can either send us the entire code or just send us the Pixel ID.
  • Example Code Pixel ID: 111aaaa11111111aa1aaaa1a1111a111a1
