How to Setup Enhanced Conversions for Leads for Google Ads

Overview

We have identified a recent issue affecting Google Ads tracking for clients using the Elevar Google Ads destination. Google now requires a web tag to transmit submitted user data for enhanced conversions for leads. If this web tag is not implemented, a "Needs Attention" flag may appear on your Elevar server-side conversion setup, indicating that the enhanced conversion functionality is not working. This issue does not affect client-side tracking or server-side tracking where Elevar had a click ID.

Follow this guide to learn how to resolve the issue and improve your Elevar server-side conversion performance. Currently, we recommend downloading the "Google Ads - Enhanced Conversions for Leads" pre-built container from your Elevar app and enabling the enhanced conversions for leads in Google Ads.
