What are these TikTok Timeout Notices?

After launching your TikTok destination, you may see a small number of events that say they have timed out

Overview

You may notice a handful of TikTok server events (<~5%) receive a notice saying that they timed out.

We've seen this across several customers. Elevar has been in contact with TikTok's API Team, and needs TikTok to resolve this issue on TikTok's end. Timeout errors typically occur due to receiving more requests than are able to be processed.

How does this impact me?

This does not impact your client-side TikTok Tracking. In addition, the majority of your TikTok server events are not impacted as well.
