Overview

In order to setup server-side tracking for Klaviyo, we'll need to have a Private API Key.

How to Create a Klaviyo Private API Key

Access Account Settings:

• Sign in to your Klaviyo Account.
• Begin on the Klaviyo homepage and click on the "Account" button located in the lower left-hand corner of the page.
  • An additional pop-up menu will appear, click on the "Settings" tab.

API Keys Settings:

• Once in your account settings, use the left-hand menu to click on the "API Keys" tab.
  • Navigate to the section of the page titled "Private API Keys".
  • Locate and click on the "Create Private API Key" button located in the upper right-hand corner of the Private API Keys box.

Private API Key Details:

• After clicking on the "Create Private API Key" button, you will be brought to a new page where you can select the required information for your new API Key.
  • Locate the section of the page titled "Private API Key Name" and use the text box to type "Elevar".
  • Locate the section of the page titled "Select Access Level" and click on the box titled "Full Access Key".
• Once you have selected all of the required information for creating a Private Access API Key, click on the "Create" button located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

Private API Key Confirmation:

• After creating your Private API Key Confirmation, you will be brought to a confirmation page.
• Navigate to the section of the page titled "Your Private Key" and locate the box with your key.
