What are Data Connections Used For?

Many of the features on Elevar paid plans require connecting your Google Tag Manager and/or Shopify store to enable, such as importing tags from our Chrome Extension to GTM.

How to Configure your Dashboard Data Connections

Access Connections:

• Begin on your Elevar homepage and click on the "Settings" button or the gear icon located in the left-hand menu.
  • Once in the settings, use the left-hand menu to click on the "Connections" tab.
  • Start with authenticating your Google Account, then connect your data sources. If you are not the admin user for the company, then you may need to contact them to connect this for you.
• Then, we will pull in your account data that you can then map for Google Tag Manager and/or Google Analytics.

Looking for Shopify Connection?

The integration and connection with Shopify is established during the Shopify Source Setup within the "Store Connection" step.

While this setting did previously live in the Connection Settings, it now exclusively lives within the Shopify Source.

Please note: We never publish in your GTM account from Elevar.

We only import but do not publish anything. You have full control over publishing.
