General Billing FAQs
How does Elevar's billing work?
Each plan (Starter, Essentials, Growth and Business) includes:
- A flat monthly fee with a monthly order limit
- Applicable extra order fees for accounts that go over their order limit
For example, if you're on Elevar's Essentials plan, you can process up to 1,000 orders per month for a flat fee of $150/month. If you send 1,001 orders during a single billing period, you will be charged your flat monthly fee plus $0.15 for the extra order which would total $150.15 for the billing period.
Billing periods start on the 16th day after your trial period is over.
What counts as an order?
If you have server-side marketing destinations (like GA4, Facebook, etc.) where Elevar sends your orders to, we will only count orders sent to your destinations. If you don't have live server-side destinations, we count all orders created in your Shopify store.
Why are orders charged based on volume?
Elevar charges based upon the orders our server's are processing and sending for you. The more orders our servers are processing and sending, the more cost we incur.
Plan Changes
How do I change my plan?
If you already have an Elevar Account, you can change your plan at any time by navigating to "Settings" in your Elevar app. Then locate the "Plan & Usage" tab from the side menu and click on the "Manage Plans and Services" button.
If I'm on a legacy plan (prior to January 2023), do I need to update to a new Elevar plan?
For now, Elevar does not require you to change your plan but we will eventually be sunsetting old plans. At some time in the future, likely in the second half of 2023, Elevar will require you to switch plans.
Extra Order Fees
What happens if I process more orders than what's included in my plan in a billing period?
Your tracking will continue working. For every extra order, we charge a per order fee. If you have over 100,000 orders per month, contact us.
Does sending a single order to multiple destinations count as two orders?
No. If you send one unique order to both Google Analytics 4 and Facebook, that counts as one order.
Do you include blocked orders in my monthly limit?
If you block draft order from being sent via Elevar's servers to all your marketing destinations, these will not count as an order. If your shopper has opted out of tracking and you're using Elevar's Consent Integration, these will not count as orders.
If our server's aren't processing and sending orders for you, they won't count as an order against your order limit.
What if I block an order from being sent to Facebook, but not Google Analytics 4?
As long as an order is processed by our servers and sent to at least one server-side destination, that counts as an order. So, if you blocked an order from Facebook, but did send it to Google Analytics 4, that would count as an order.
Where can I see my order usage?
In your Elevar Account, navigate to the "Settings" and click on the "Plan & Usage" tab from the side menu. Then click on the "View Usage History" button.
What if I need way more than 50,000 orders per month?
