Overview

If you are launching Google Analytics 4 tracking via Google Tag Manger and Elevar, then you must disable Google Analytics 4 tracking from within the Google channel in your store.

How to Disable GA4 Shopify Integration

Access Google Sales Channel:

• Begin on your Shopify homepage. Use the left-hand menu to click on the tab titled "Sales Channels".

• You will be prompted to use the search feature located at the top of the page.

  • Within the search feature, type in "Google" and click on the corresponding sales channel.

How to Disconnect Your Google Analytics Property

Access Your Google Analytics Property:

• Once you are on the Google "App Setup" page, locate the box titled "Your Google Analytics property".
  • With in this box, you will see your linked Google Analytics property.
  • Click on the button labeled "Disconnect".
