Enable Shopify Source and Configure Pre-Built Tag
Learn about Consent Mode and enabling Shopify Source and configuring Pre-Built Tag.
Overview
To set up Consent Mode, start by enabling it in the Shopify source and configuring the pre-built consent tag. Elevar’s Consent Mode works with various consent management platforms (CMPs), allowing you to add a consent banner to your website and facilitating server-side tracking based on shopper consent. After importing, you can customize consent rules for each marketing destination.
Warning: Do not use OneTrust's auto-blocking with Elevar's Consent Mode.
If you enable auto-blocking, Google Tag Manager will be blocked from loading unless a shopper has accepted all cookies. Therefore any logic you setup with Elevar's Consent Mode will not work if the shopper accepts some cookies or no cookies.
