How to Grant Elevar Access to Customer Events
Learn how to grant Elevar permissions to 'View Customer Events" and "Manage and Add Custom Pixels"
Overview
Follow this guide to learn how to grant Elevar Access to Customer Events for Shopify and Shopify Plus.
Shopify Plus
Access Shopify Store Settings:
- Begin on the Shopify homepage and click on the "Settings" button or the gear icon in the lower left-hand corner of the page. In your Shopify store access your settings.
- Using the left-hand menu, click on the "Users" tab.
- Once in the Users settings, click on Elevar Collaborator with the email address "[email protected]" from the list of your collaborators. You can use the search function in the upper right-hand corner of the page for easy locating.
Edit Store Access:
- Once in the settings for the Elevar Collaborator with the email address of "[email protected]", locate and click on the three dots.
- An additional drop-down menu will appear, click on the "Edit" tab.

Add Customer Event Permissions to Elevar:
- Once in Elevar Collaborator settings, navigate to the tab labeled "Store settings".
- Expand the Store settings by clicking on the drop-down arrow.
- Check the checkboxes for "View Customer events" and "Manage and add custom pixels".
- After making the desired changes to the settings, click on the "Save" button in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

Non-Shopify Plus
Access Shopify Store Settings:
- Begin on the Shopify homepage and click on the "Settings" button or the gear icon in the lower left-hand corner of the page. In your Shopify store access your settings.
- Using the left-hand menu, click on the "Users and Permissions" tab.
- Once in the Users settings, locate and click on Elevar Collaborator with the email address "[email protected]" from the list of your staff.

- Once in the settings for the Elevar Collaborator with the email address of "[email protected]", navigate to the tab labeled "Store settings".
- Expand the Store settings by clicking on the drop-down arrow.

- After making the desired changes to the settings, click on the "Save" button in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
