Overview

In order to setup Google Tag Manager tags for Reddit, we'll need to have a Reddit Advertiser ID.

How to Locate and Generate Reddit Advertiser ID

Access Events Manager:

• Login to your Reddit Ads Manager
• Begin on your Reddit homepage and use the left-hand menu to click on the "Events Manager" tab.

Access Conversions API Settings:

• Once you have accessed the Events Manager settings, an additional menu will appear on the left-hand side of the screen.
• Locate and click on the "Conversions API" tab.

Generate Access Token:

• Once you have accessed the Conversions API Settings, you will be brought to a new page titled "Conversions API".
• Locate the section of the page titled "Conversions access token" and click on the "+ Generate Access Token" button.

Name Access Token:

• After clicking on the "+ Generate Access Token" button, an additional pop-up window will appear.
• Locate the section of the name titled "Name" and use the text box to enter an easily identifiable name for the access token.
• Once you have entered a name for your access token, click on the "Generate" button located on the right-hand side of the window.

Locate Access Token/Advertiser ID:

• After generating a new access token, you will be provided with a line of letters and numbers. This is your Access Token or also known as your Advertiser ID.
