How to Assign Elevar an Admin Role in Shopify

Follow this guide to learn how to assign Elevar as an Admin role in Shopify by granting Elevar a store role and assigning the required permissions.

How to Assign Elevar a Store Admin Role in Shopify
Access Shopify Settings:
- Begin on your Shopify homepage and use the left-hand navigation menu to click on the "Settings" tab.

Add Role:
- Once in your Shopify settings, use the left-hand navigation menu to click on the "Users" tab. An additional menu will appear, click on the "Roles" tab.
- Once on the Roles page, click on the "Add Role" button located in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

Add Elevar:
- Navigate to the section of the page titled "Name" and use the text box to enter "Elevar". Here you can also add extra information in the "Description" text box.

Assign Orders Permissions:
- Once you have added Elevar, navigate to the section of the page titled "Permissions".
- Locate and click on the "Orders" tab. An additional drop-down selection menu will appear, click on the "View" option.

Assign Online Store Permissions:
- Once you have enabled the view permissions, locate and click on the "Online store" tab. An additional drop-down selection menu will appear, click on the "View" option.

Assign Store Settings Permissions:
- Once you have enabled the online store permissions, locate and click on the "Store settings" tab. An additional drop-down selection menu will appear, click on the "Manage settings" option.
- Locate and click on the "View customer events" tab. An additional drop-down selection menu will appear, click on the "Manage and add custom pixels" option.
- Once you have selected the required permissions, be sure to click on the "Save" button located in the top menu bar.

How to Add Elevar as a User in Shopify
Add User:
- Begin on your Shopify homepage and use the left-hand navigation menu to click on the "Settings" tab.
- Once in your Shopify settings, use the left-hand navigation menu to click on the "Users" tab.
- Locate and click on the "Add Users" button located in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

Assign Elevar Role:
- Navigate to the section of the page titled "Emails" and use the text box to enter "[email protected]".
- Navigate to the section of the page titled "Roles and groups" and click on the "Assign" button. Use the search function to locate and click on the Elevar option.

Configure Two-Step Authentication:
- After assigning Elevar a role, navigate to the section of the page titled "Two-step authenticaion" and click on the "Two-step authentication is not required" option.
- Once you have selected the required permissions, be sure to click on the "Save" button located in the top menu bar.
