Overview

You can control when data is sent to Session Enrichment based on the consent choices of your shopper. Follow this guide to learn how to set up Consent Mode in session enrichment.

Prerequisites:

You must have Consent Mode enabled in your Data Layer and configured the necessary GTM tags.

How to Set Up Consent Mode in Session Enrichment

Access Session Enrichment:

• Begin on your Elevar homepage, and use the left-hand menu to click on the "My Tracking" tab.
• Navigate to the "Sources" section of the page and click on the box titled "Session Enrichment".

Session Enrichment Data Management Settings:

• Once in the Session Enrichment settings, ensure that you are on the tab titled "Consent Mode".
  • Navigate to the box titled "Would you like to enable Consent Mode?" and click on the button labeled "Yes, enable for Session Enrichment".
  • Then, navigate to the box titled "What consent categories should a shopper accept before tracking fires?".
  • Select the Consent Categories you'd like your shopper to agree to before data gets sent to Session Enrichment.
• After making your desired changes, click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
