Piwik Instance Name:

The Piwik instance name is used in several places, including:

• Tracking code:
  The instance name is used in the code snippet for installing tracking code. This code initializes the Analytics tracker, including the command queue, basic configuration, and the script tag that loads the tracker library.
• JavaScript API:
  The instance name is used in the code snippet for initializing the API interface. This code creates a script tag that loads the Audience Manager API library, initializes the command queue, and schedules the create command to initialize the API object.
• JavaScript Tracking Client:

How to Locate Piwik Instance Name

Locate URL:

• Once you have created a Piwik account, navigate to the URL.
• Here you will find your instance name. Locate the phrase in the URL that is before the ".piwik".
