Overview:

There was a small bug that was preventing additional data (like email, phone, and address) from being sent with the Facebook Pixel Purchase Event. If you're also using Elevar's Facebook CAPI Integration, your CAPI purchase event was sending this data. The below steps will walk you through how to fix this bug.

Step 1: Download the Web Container from your Facebook Destination

Step 2: Import this container to your GTM Web Container

Step 3: Delete the "Facebook - Pageview" Tag

Why? The new Facebook Pixel tags you've imported combine the pageview event with the Sitewide Pixel tag & Purchase tag. So if you didn't delete this tag, you'd get duplicate pageview event tracking.

Step 4: Publish
