The 3.29 release is all about faster setup and cleaner signals that drive performance. Simplified Onboarding gets you live in minutes, while our new Omnisend destination helps recover more revenue with enriched email and SMS campaigns. Boosted Events (Beta) introduce predictive signals that optimize for what’s likely to happen, and updates to Session Enrichment, Checkout Events, and Offline Purchase Events give you more accurate attribution, higher EMQ scores, and stronger omnichannel results in Meta.


Data Layer

Improved Session Enrichment:

  • Validated Emails: Elevar now validates emails during session enrichment to ensure cleaner, more accurate customer data. Validated emails reduce noise from typos and mismatched records, strengthen connections between events for better multichannel reporting, and tie every conversion back to a verified customer to boost trust in analytics and activation.

Onboarding Experience:

  • Google Tag Manager Removed in Onboarding Requirement: Google Tag Manager is now optional for setting up both your Shopify source and optional within each destination. this allows you to control how you would like to handle your server side tracking and you can add destinations faster. This is available across all setup types, Shopify, Headless, and Non-Shopify stores.
  • Shopify Customer Privacy API: We now support Shopify's Customer Privacy API without Google Tag Manager.

Destinations

New Beta Releases:

  • Boosted Events: Boosted Events are now available! These predictive signals are embedded directly into Elevar’s event system, adding forward-looking attributes so platforms can optimize for what’s likely to happen, not just what already did. Boosted Events are designed to improve acquisition, efficiency, and retention campaigns.

Omnisend:

  • Omnisend: Omnisend is now available as a stable destination! Elevar powers Omnisend campaigns with clean, enriched data to help you recover more revenue, capture more abandoners, and create smarter audience segments for personalized outreach.

Google Analytics 4:

  • ecid Format Update: ecid value has been updated to reflect the new cookie formatting.

TikTok:

  • Updated Web Events: Subscription Purchase and Account Sign-Up events are now included in the TikTok destination.
    • Read GoDataFeed to learn more about the Elevar events and properties sent to TikTok.
  • Purchase Mapping: Complete Payment has been renamed to Purchase, and Place an Order is being deprecated. Web tag renaming is handled automatically by TikTok, but we recommend reimporting your TikTok web tags for cleaner mapping.

Dynamic Referral Exclusion List:

  • Referral Exclusion List: No more waiting for a deployment for updates, individuals list per website for website specific referral exclusion lists. Enables you to maintain accurate attribution data while using server side tracking. Reach out

Order Tag:

  • Order Tag Window Update: Updated the order tag window to be extended, thus allowing for more time for processing as more complex FLOW configurations often take longer to complete. Additionally, allows for a higher level accuracy for data segmentation based on order tags.

Checkout Events:

  • Actionable Data for Email/SMS: Now more begin checkout events are captured and sent to ad and email/sms platforms to further improve EMQ scores and power stronger automations.

Reporting:

  • Attribution Feed: Now available for Non-Shopify API Customers where they can now enjoy the same attribution reports as our Shopify customers.

  • Server Events Log: Gain more granular data for advanced troubleshooting with segmenting GA4 anonymous data. This helps to reduce confusion when comparing events sent to GA4 versus what is displayed in GA4. Remember that anonymous data will only display in the GA4 platform if eligible for modeling.
