The 3.26 release delivers powerful updates to help you streamline tracking, improve data accuracy, and capture more conversions. Highlights include a simplified Shopify subscription setup for new users, increased Shopify Markets group limits, a new BigQuery integration, private beta for X (formerly Twitter) Ads, improved image quality for cart abandonment emails, and an extended attribution for Reddit Ads to better capture delayed conversions. Platform improvements include smarter Channel Accuracy alerts to help your insights stabilize accurately.

Data Layer
Remove fallbackCurrencyCode:
- The fallbackCurrencyCode field has been deprecated to streamline data consistency.
Improved Image Quality for Cart Abandonment Emails:
- Image rendering for cart abandonment emails has been enhanced to deliver higher-quality visuals to help improve engagement and brand perception.

Simplified Subscription Logic:
- Subscription settings are now managed in the Shopify Source for a more consistent setup experience. All destinations will now follow the same subscription logic, except for Google Analytics 4 (GA4) which has a unique configuration.

Destinations
New Beta Releases:
- Twitter (X): Twitter is now available as a private beta! If you're intrested in testing, sign up here! This feature is available with Elevar’s fully managed server-only setup.
New Integrations:
- BigQuery: You can now enable conversion data streams in real-time from Elevar to BigQuery via Pub/Sub to enable event-driven data processing, custom analytics, and faster insights for scalable reporting and decision making. To enable this integration, you must set up the Pub/Sub destination in Elevar, and follow the BigQuery integration guide to relay data to Big Query through Pub/Sub. Google Ads:
- Updated Scope: Google Ads Purchase Conversion Actions are now created as secondary actions to align with best practices.
- View Item Event: You can now enable the "View Item" event within the Google Ads Destination.
- Add to Cart Event: You can now enable the "Add to Cart" event within the Google Ads Destination.
Microsoft Advertising:
- Checkout Webhooks: Checkout events for Microsoft Ads (Bing Ads) now prioritize webhook data to prevent duplicate events and ensure more accurate reporting. [How to Set Up]
Reddit:
- Extended Attribution:Reddit Ads now track conversions over a longer timeframe to capture delayed purchases and improve campaign performance. This update is automatically applied and no additional set up is required.

Platform
Channel Accuracy Alerts:
- Channel accuracy alerts will now be paused for the first 150 minutes after a new destination goes live to give your data time to stabilize.
