This release includes an in-app dashboard redesign, the ability to filter reports by a date range plus the option to change between your store and current location timezone. Additional features included data layer image adjustments and additional purchase event parameters for Meta. Plus the release of RTB House Private Beta integration (limited seats available) and CJ Affiliate is officially out of beta!
Platform
We've refreshed our dashboard when first landing in the Elevar app, and we've placed relevant data front and center. Review your server-side destination performance and be guided to review your the performance of popular destinations.
Reporting
- Custom data selection added in addition to existing 24 hrs, 7 days, or 30 days.
- Time zone selection. The new default timezone will be your store's timezone. You can change your timezone to your system location timezone in your account settings if preferred.
- Discontinue Alerts: "No Shopify Orders in the past 2 hours" alert has been discontinued.
Data Layer
- Previous enhancement for Facebook that increases the amount of browser-side events that pass a Facebook cookie value to improve performance & EMQ scores is now consent aware. Cookies will only be generated if consent is accepted for setups with consent enabled.
- Omnisend email form submissions now trigger our subscribe event that will work with destination(s) email sign up event, and capture data into session enrichment
- Bug Fix: When cart reconciliation was enabled and triggered events where passing thumbnail images resulted in blurry images in email service providers. This has been correct and full-size image URLs are expected.
Destinations
- CJ Affiliate is no longer in beta! It is now an approved destination. [How to Set Up]
- RTB House is now in private beta! Please let us know here if you'd like to be a beta tester. [Elevar's Fully Managed Server Only]
- Facebook/Meta Go Live modal now includes a recommendation to take a screenshot of current match quality scores for before and after comparison.
- Facebook/Meta server-side checkout and purchase events now have additional parameters of content_name and content_category
- Updated to the latest version of Google Ads conversion API
- Awin server-side purchase event not includes additional paramters for Product Category and Shipping Country.
- Impact Radius: CustomerEmail hashing method changes per documentation
- Server-side checkout events originating from the custom pixel events will now pass the page URL rather than the custom pixel iframe URL. This means that for destinations like Klaviyo you can now use the URL for your customers to return directly to the checkout they created on their previous visit.
- Postscript: Cart URL is available in all server-side events when using the custom pixel
- All Destinations
- Removing the monitoring tags from pre-built destination containers. Previously we sunset the in-app reporting from these tags and moved to console-only monitoring messages. Due to limited use, we've opted to reduce the complexity of our GTM pre-built tags in favor of increased performance. If you would like to update your tags, access each of your destinations and re-import the web containers for each destination to get the latest updates. Once complete you can delete any unused variables and monitoring tags.
